White Sage is a sacred herb to the North American Indians, used for purification, healing and cleansing. Sage carries the virtues of strength and wisdom while it banished heavy unwanted energy; it is valued as an aromatic herb and burned as incense. This white sage has the largest leaf and widest stem of the sage family and is prized for its strong aromatic properties. It has striking silvery, downy, and sometimes lobe leaves that are nearly white. This is the best white sage that we have ever seen. In our experience, Salvia Apiana is the most effective of the many sages used in smudging, and has the additional benefit of a lovely fragrance. Sage is a traditional medicine plant of the Native American peoples, used for healing, ceremony, cleansing and purification. It is used to clear negativity both from inside and outside ourselves, from our dwellings or any other structure or object.
